Cross cultural soundscapes
Free entry

The Turkish/Dutch multi-instrumentalist Aktas Erdogan and the classical guitarist Martin van Hees take on the challenge of mixing different musical styles in an exciting way. By creating unique soundscapes, the audience is treated to a performance that combines experimental sounds with Spanish, Indian, Turkish and electronic music.
Aktas Erdogan and Martin van Hees got to know each other during their classical guitar studies at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. Martin van Hees developed to a chamber musician, contemporary classical musician and soloist, while Aktas went back to his roots. He is a connoisseur of the fretless guitar, a player of different types of flutes (Dudu, Nay en Oud) and a keen improviser experimenting with electronics live on stage. Together they toured India in 2017 with their band CCO3.
