‘More than a guitar’; the 8 string MOOV guitar by Giorgos Tabakis. Greek guitarist Giorgos Tabakis creates a sound world full of artistic guitar ideas and techniques on a special 8-string, foldable guitar!

During this concert, Giorgios will perform with this exceptional guitar and he will present a series of his own compositions and improvisations, showing elements of modern classical, jazz and progressive music, with the Greek sound being often present both melodically and rhythmically, giving a result that is fresh and distinctive.

Giorgios Tabakis: “While composing my album ‘hEre nOw theN’, my idea was to see the 8-string guitar as an orchestra in one instrument. That vision gave me the freedom to experiment with and create something that would sound ‘more than a guitar’.

The Greek guitar builder, George Behlivanoglou built the 8-string MOOV guitar exclusively for Giorgios.
