Duo LeCoultre&VanHees represents every conceivable style of classical music. Their CD “Cuckoo” – Songs of Europe (2019) received high praise for the skilful virtuoso arrangement of European folk songs.

In 2023, the duo strikes a new path through their fascination with contradictions in music. Duo LeCoultre&VanHees, featuring violinist Floor Le Coultre and guitarist Martin van Hees will play a challenging program with music by Arvo Pärt and Astor Piazzolla on classical guitar as well as electric guitar! The duo takes the audience on a musical journey into a full palette of emotions, from melancholy and sadness to joy and euphoria.

This avant-garde duo, founded in 2014, has already performed on Radio4 and at several international chamber music festivals and many concert venues in the Netherlands. Both artists embrace a highly diverse repertoire that encompasses all the possible styles of music, and their concerts are described as highly expressive and compelling.

Prior to the concert, super talented and prodigy guitarist Vincent Opheikens will perform.
