‘Surrounded by wood’ Concert and visit

Featuring Young talent
10 October · 11:00 & 11:45 hr · Sawmill De Salamander

In the remarkable setting of the historic Sawmill De Salamander, music, craftsmanship and material come together. Surrounded by wood and the mill’s historic interior, a young guitarist from the Royal Conservatoire The Hague presents an intimate concert programme.

A professional luthier will also be present to share more about the instrument, the different types of wood and the craftsmanship behind guitar making. This creates a special encounter between music and craft – in a place where wood quite literally takes centre stage.

Due to limited seating, two short concerts will take place, at 11:00 and 11:45 a.m. Reservations via the form below are recommended.
